V E L I E R O

VELIERO is a metal sculpture with a strong visual impact, made with overlapping sheets of bronzed brass. The work is configured as an abstract geometric composition, in which rectangular, triangular and circular shapes intersect and balance each other, creating a sense of dynamic harmony.

The title itself, VELIERO, suggests a nautical metaphor: the lines and volumes refer to the stylised image of a vessel, with the sail inflated by the wind and the supporting structure that provides stability. The use of exposed screws is not only an aesthetic detail, but becomes an integral part of the visual narrative, evoking the world of naval carpentry and mechanical construction.

The bronzed brass, with its slightly oxidized surfaces and golden reflections, adds depth and warmth to the work, giving it a lived-in, almost archaeological look. The balance between the shapes and their arrangement suggests movement, as if the sailing ship were ready to set sail on the sea of imagination.

VELIERO fascinates with its constructivist essentiality and its ability to evoke, with a few decisive signs, man's eternal journey through space and time.
